Heather – Anytime Portrait

Heather was a doll and so comfortable in front of the camera. I wish I was that comfortable… but when it comes to getting my picture taken I run – as far as possible! I am trying to get better and the fact that there is even a picture of me on this site is a step forward! So, for those that are shy with the camera… I TOTALLY UNDERSTAND!

I love shoots like this that just develop as they go along, in totally new untapped spots.

This is one of my favorites.

Another favorite and this one I wasn’t sure about until I loaded it on the computer and then it just jumped out at me. LOVE IT!

I have taken pictures of friends before and I really love the connection true friends have with one another. It is so heartwarming to watch.

Melaina is the one that brought Heather along on her shoot and we went crazy with the pictures of them both!

This was a cool doorway!

I don’t get to photograph tattoos very often, but I love it when I do! Can you see the “tear” on Heather’s cheek? This image gets to me…

Joely and Steph – College Portraits

Yes, you are seeing right! I actually have a new post! So sorry, just have been way busy. Sorry to keep you waiting Joely and Steph! Since you had to wait I will make it a long one :).

I think I laughed as much as they did during this shoot… wait, maybe even more!

Joely and Steph are two girls having fun on vacation before heading back to college. They traveled from Pennsylvania all the way to Seattle to live it up in the city. We had a great time seeing all that there is to see – such a cool place to hang out with your friend! My hubby and I played tour guide for the day.

First stop, coffee of course!

We mixed in a little portrait work with fun…

Steph has the most beautiful smile…

I love the vintage shops downtown. We went to one that had the coolest 1940’s shoes, dresses, hats and umbrellas. Love how the sky is reflected in this image.

The taxi driver didn’t appreciate us sitting on his cab, but got the shot anyway and it was worth it :).

These girls got some attention as you can imagine.

Wow Steph, that is all I can say…

I have photographed Joely several times, but Steph has never had a photo shoot with me and this was her first trip to Washington so I took lots of shots of her.

She has the most beautiful skin, really beautiful.
